What has happened after every down-turn in our economy? We have a "BOOM" in our economy! Who makes that "BOOM" happen? WE DO. US. OUR EFFORTS. OUR BUSINESSES. Why do some suffer more in the down-turn? Usually because they do not have multiple streams of income. Typically, one job, sometimes two, but both could be lost due to the down-turn. So what else is there? Your network. Everyone has a network. It's your family & friends. Through your network, you learn of new restaurants that are good (or bad), what movies would be worth seeing, where to shop, where to travel, etc. You just haven't been shown how your network could make money for you and everyone in it. Some won't read any farther because of the notion they don't want to involve their family and friends in a money making venture. Maybe it's because of the way they were brought up or maybe it's out of fear of rejection or failure. Maybe they think they don't have time to start a business. Whatever the reason, if you do not find out how it works and why, you leave your financial fate up to someone else. There are millions of people out there leaving their financial fate up to someone else because they are afraid of trying something different. Don't get us wrong, employment is great. However, it should not be the only source of your income.

Let's go over the employment thing...
All businesses are pyramids. What? Think about it for a moment. Whether you work for yourself or for someone else, you are somewhere in the typical business pyramid. Here's an example:
The Typical Business Pyramid
The Owner
(usually one person)
The Managers
(say there are 3 who report to the one)
The Clerks
(say there are 9 who report to the three)
The Shelf Stockers
(say there are 27)
And finally, the customers!
All of whom spend their hard-earned money
here at this store, and
DON'T EARN A DIME
when they buy whatever product
you have imagined being sold
in this pyramid store.
Get the picture?
Every large corporate business, every small mom & pop store, and all the buisnesses in between are based on the typical buisness pyramid. We purchase products from businesses like these everyday. There's nothing wrong with this type of structure except that if you are an employee, you can only expect to trade your time for your paycheck. You are basically limited in the amount of money you can make.
Now, imagine a business where you are not limited in the amount of money you can make. Imagine earning money off of other peoples' efforts just like the typical business owner above but without the hassels of a traditional buisness. No employees, no inventory, no manufacturing, no shipping hassels. Work with people you want to work with, people you like, your network.
